With the festive period fast approaching, a friendly reminder to all Milnbank Housing Association tenants: please ensure your rent payment is on time.
Your rent, due on the 1st of each month, can be paid weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly, or monthly according to your plan. If you’re behind or need an agreement, contact your Housing Officer.
It’s also worth thinking about whether the way you usually make payments will be affected by our Christmas closures, as our offices will be shut from 12pm on Friday 22 December 2023 until 9.00am on Wednesday 3 January 2024. If this affects your payments, plan ahead.
Don’t hesitate to reach out to your Housing Officer if you’re facing arrears or have payment concerns. We can also refer you to our Income Maximisation Officers if you need any help with benefits and maximising your income.
Remember: If you miss payments, rent recovery action will be taken against you. Rent is a priority payment, and your tenancy agreement is a legal contract. You can be at risk of losing your home if you breach your tenancy agreement.
