Senior Housing Services Officer

Salary: £46,728 - £50,556 per annum

Contract: Full-Time, Secondment Opportunity, Temporary (Maternity leave cover)

The Association is looking to recruit a Senior Housing Services Officer to support the Director of Housing & Community Initiatives to manage the provision of a high quality, responsive housing management service that delivers and focuses on positive outcomes for tenants and other customers. 

Ideally, the postholder will have the following:

  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong customer service skills. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competent IT skills.
  • Previous housing services experience within the social housing sector.
  • Knowledge of current legislation, the Regulatory Framework and strategic issues affecting Housing Associations in Scotland.
  • Team player with the ability to cope with changing circumstances & demands.

As the Senior Housing Services Officer, you will be responsible for taking a leading role within the Housing Services Team. The duties associated with the position include, but are not limited to, monitoring performance and organising the team with Arrears Management, Allocations and Void Management, Estate Management, Complaints Handling, Promoting, and encouraging tenant participation.
